We've been just glued to the BBC feed for 24 hours now, riveted as the 33 Chilean miners have come safely home to their families. We caught Mario Sepulveda's arrival live, as he leapt out of the capsule, embraced his wife... and began embracing everyone else! We laughed as he passed out "souvenir" rocks and I choked up as he led the rescue workers in "CHI CHI CHI! LE LE LE!". It's been a joy and a privilege to watch everyone work together to rescue these men. Governments and psychology students and historians will be remembering this day for ages to come.
The whole nation of Chile has gone mad with joy tonight, and we're going crazy with them. Viva Chile!
